I think one of the things I remember the most about him was his laugh and his smile. He had really nice teeth and everyone knew with all the grinning he did. :D I'll miss that. I know that everyone had different experiences with Uncle Leon but to me and my siblings he was our role model. If we were in the same place we were always with Uncle Leon. We'd wake up in the morning and go straight to his house. If we could we'd mess up his nice couches by sleeping on them. He wasn't scary and yet we always behaved because we didn't want to disappoint him.

I miss his hugs. He was one of the few people who would give those big hugs that just encompassed you. No holding back. I wish I had his loving spirit. I always think "what if" and in those scenarios he is always alive. Thinking of you today Uncle Leon. As you would always say at the end of your postcards, alofa tele atu.
